Gaya was born from the idea of making people feel special. You will definitely turn heads with the hat that we will design together. Every hat is hand crafted in our workshop in Bucharest by local artisan hat maker, Madalina. Inspired by everything that is beautiful, from mountains to seas, from Earth to the big Galaxy, from animals to people.

Madalina strives to create unique, one of a kind lifetime pieces of art. From the process of steaming to the process of cutting and sewing the final product, everything is done manually. Most of the crowns are handshaped, rather than pulled down over a pre-shaped hat block, in order to maintain the authenticity and genuine nature of every creation.

By definition, a hat is a hair accessory, but we think it can be much more than that. It can be an extension of your personal self, an expression of your individuality and vibe. I will be ready to deliver your hat but will you be ready to deliver the message of your hat to the world?
